NY Cop Busted for Smuggling Contraband

A NY cop pleaded guilty to running a smuggling ring that brought contraband into NY.  The Brooklyn cop, William Masso, has been sentenced to six years for smuggling guns, cigarettes, and slot machines into the city.

Masso is also required to hand over $50,000 that he earned from his illegal operation.

Masso as well as a dozen others helped to run the crime ring. He and the others were caught after a year long ivestigation by the FBI.

Masso is the cousin of a known crime boss, Alphonse “Allie Shades” Malangone. Masso is married with three children.
